Fault Calc

Calculate fault current on the fly!

Thee Fault Calculations
  1. Over a line
  2. Through a XFMR
  3. The bracing de-rate factor for a utility XR ratio

Where length is inputted you can use your GPS from your phone to get an approximate distance (only as accurate as the GPS in your phone).

The calculations use the 2008/2011/2014 NEC code for impedance values and are based on IEEE Std 242-1975 Recommended Practice for Protection and Coordination of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems.
